A deck of 78 cards which offers a symbolic language for story telling used to gain insight, inspire ideas and gain clarity and understanding in a person's life. Used by connecting energies between the cards and the querant, the reader can interpret individualised meanings and messages.

Tarot first came about in Italy during the 1500s, called Tarrochi, based on existing European card games. Evolving into the 1900s when the Taroth Tarot deck was created by Englishman Aleister Crowley. It wasn't until the 1960s when it became used for personal development and was characterised as fortune telling.

Nowadays there is a lot more understanding that the cards can't predict the future, to the point of 'what date will I get married', or 'will I definitely get the job'. What it can do, is give insights such as actions needed in order to reach situations and ways you can help shape your own future, because everybody has free will to make their own decisions.

A typical deck contains 22 Major Arcana cards (which represent major life themes) and 56 Minor Arcana cards (which represent more minor characteristics of life). Further split into 4 suits: Cups (emotions and relationships), Swords (intellect), Pentacles (finances and material matters) and Wands (creativity).

Today, there are numerous decks available, however, like many other readers, I use the most modern and common deck, the Classic Rider-Waite-Smith. This deck contains the most richly symbolic illustrations, making readings clearer and more in depth.

When I complete a reading, I ensure I am clear minded so I can best tune into the querants energy. This gives me the deepest connection and helps me interpret the cards with clarity. If I am drawn to pull any further cards during your reading, I will do so at no extra cost.

Once completed, I will send you a pdf document which will include a photo of the cards drawn and a comprehensive explanation of your reading, with a summary at the end. I do then welcome any queries if you wish to seek further clarity on any part of your reading, however, unfortunately I am unable to pull further cards from this point due to the energy and time I put into all of my readings.
